A thing about braindumping is that there is no time to make a mind map. Mind mapping is a way of organising your mind's way of connecting stuff. But during a proper brain dump, there is no time to map out the results. This has to be perfomred afterwards. Which steals time for more braindumping. Sad, really.
Even when you realise there is mind mapping software out there, fast enough computers which can keep the same pace as a braindump process and large enough papers to print the result on. Well, some day...
