Easter almost gone. I have spent time on Instant Messaging this Easter. Installing and configuring AOL, MSN Messenger, ICQ and Skype. Skype impresses me. It works right out of the (virtual) box and has a proper search facility for finding others. AOL, MSN and ICQ need additional contact with others -- to be able to find them. Strangely enough -- since the tool is designed for the opposite.
And Skype comes with a free IP phone service too.
Then re-discovering UseNet. I haven't been into UseNet since '96 -- since it was too much spam back then. Seems to have improved spamwise. But still a bunch of people with too much timeon their hands. Just like bloggers...
